Mohammed Ali / FacebookI’m flying out to Chicago for the Artist retreat organised by my favourite organisation in the USA, IMAN. You can see their website on http://www.imancentral.org – a very inspiring organisation, in fact they have given me inspiration for my own UK-based organisation Soul City Arts, so will be talking about ideas, international collaborations, forward-planning and just generally benefitting from similar minded individuals doing things from all over. There are not many UK participants in the retreat, just myself and Poetic Pilgrimage, so it will be interesting to learn about the parallels and differences there may be between both communities. I will be generally blogging about the trip, like i did during my last stay in the USA. Also have my Canon 7D with me, so looking forward to snapping some pix and shooting some video. Look out for some timelapse footage!
